• The city's population in 2010 was

• 23% non-Hispanic black

• 0.7% Native American,

• 12.7% Asian.

• Hispanics of any race represented 28.6% of the population,while Asians constituted the fastest-growing segment of the city's population

• The 2011 census recorded that 2,998,264 people or 36.7% of London's population are foreign-born making London the city with the second largest immigrant population, behind New York City, in terms of absolute numbers.
