Mon 30 JunePerPeTualPerpetual is an exploration of the relationship between organic and mechanical matter.
We think ourselves distinct from machines, that our movements, thoughts and voices hold something human, something that can’t be replicated. But what is the body but mechanics, the skeleton scaffolding, the muscles pistons, the heart a dynamo and the brain its pilot?
Does that distinction we cling to truly exist and if so, how long for?
Jimmy Addy, Taylor Ayling and liam cadzow Webb are young performers working with collaborative methods of devising theatre. Perpetual is the first work of this collaboration.
