REPORT
A Webinar on ‘‘NAAC Assessment & Accreditation For AQAR
Process’’ was conducted on 14th July 2020 from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30p.m.
Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1999
under Anjuman Hami-E-Islam (AHI) trust which is the biggest Muslim
Minority Institution of erstwhile Province of C.P. & Berar and presently
under the state of Maharashtra in its Vidarbha Division.
The trust was established long back, in 1888 and has completed 132 years
of services to the society. The basic aim of the AHI is to serve all people
without discrimination and to create an atmosphere of universal peace and
progress through mutual love, understanding, respect and cooperation. It
endeavours to bring about emotional integration amongst the people and
enable them to contribute and participate in the various educational and
welfare activities - general, scientific and technical.
AHI is absolutely non-political, non-communal and non-sectarian in its
policies, programmes and educational activities. It has its own constitution
and is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act. (1927), and
Bombay Public Trusts Act. (1970). It has also been sanctioned permanent
Minority Status( 2010).
Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology started rendering services
from academic year 1999-2000 with three branches Mechanical, Electrical,
Electronics and Telecommunication, two more branches viz. Computer
Science & Engineering and Civil Engineering has been added.

Slowly and steadily the College has carved a niche for itself and has
established itself s a name to be reckoned with providing quality Technical
Education at a very affordable cost.
From all over India around 1500 participants, from 25 states and 4 union
territories, affiliated to various engineering and other colleges have
registered for the webinar and around 2000 had viewed the webinar on you-
tube live [ can be viewed on https://youtu.be/ExmwTCZOBlU ].
The main objective of the webinar was to impart the knowledge and
familiarize the faculty members of engineering college as well as other
affiliated constituent college with the AQAR process.
The webinar was inaugurated by Dr. M.S. Ali , Principal , Prof.Ram Meghe
College Of Engineering & Management , Badnera , Amravati.
The major topics covered in the webinar were:-
1. Introduction , operational Features & AQAR process
2. FAQ
3. Review Process of AQAR and Feedback on AQAR
4. Overall improvement of the institution
The expert speakers were :-
1. Dr. Ganesh Hegde , Adviser, NAAC Bangalore
2. Dr. Leena Gahane , Deputy Adviser, NAAC Bangalore
3. Dr. N.R. Mohan , Assistant Advise , NAAC Bangalore
4. Dr. A.V. Prasad , Assistant Advise , NAAC Bangalore

In the inaugural remark Dr. M.S. Ali , emphasised that NACC is to be taken
as a process and not as an event , and it should be considered as a
continuous process. The importance of AQAR was highlighted by him and
he asked the participants to be more vigilante in implementing NAAC
policies through IQAC.

Dr. Ganesh Hegde , Adviser , NAAC Bangalore , stated the significance
of IQAC as NAAC see the uniqueness in the working of IQAC. He
emphasised on the importance of IQAC and the tactics to be adopted for
performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation as a continuous
process. The institution should work towards realization of its vision.
He elaborated comprehensively on functioning of IQAC and submission of
AQAR for various cycles. His session was very informative and reassuring
one.
Dr. N.R. Mohan , Assistant Advise , NAAC Bangalore, took a brief
session in explaining all the Frequently Asked Question {FAQ} which is
basically faced by all the institutions.The session was very informative
clearing most of the queries regarding AQAR.

Dr. A.V. Prasad , Assistant Adviser explained the Review process of
AQAR step wise with all the Do’s and Don’ts , and stepwise filing of
AQAR. A thourough and all-inclusive discussion on AQAR.

Dr. Leena Gahane in her presentation on the topic “Over all Improvement
in the institution ” highlighted the importance of all the small steps that
needs to be taken while improving the quality of institution. She also stated
the importance of being Atmanirbhar , in context of the motto given by our
Prime Minister to be vocal for local to be global.
The faculty members actively participated in Q & A session .the experts
clarified the doubts raised by the participants.

The webinar was conducted by Dr. Tasneem Khan and vote of thanks was
proposed by Prof. Ruhina Quazi.
