Bela Wellman
Bela Wellman was born on December 17, 1819. He died on January 31,1887 (aged 67).
Bela was the tenth of eleven children.
Bela Wellman was a California Gold Rush merchant who formed the grocery firm of Wellman, Peck and Company.
I was interested on this person, because he left home at age 12 to work on a farm. And I think that’s a little early.
Bela married Ruth Anna Harker.
