FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents,
Recently there has been a fair amount of media attention on stu-dents arriving to school earlier than 8.30am. As principal I have a du-ty of care for students when they on the school site. The School be-fore and after school care program with Camp Australia. The service takes long term and casual bookings. The new child care staff are doing a great job with the children. Booking details are in the news-letter. Before school play from 8.30 to 8.40 is a great way for stu-dents to start the day.
Year 6 Leadership
A large number of Year 6 students nominated for a role in the leader-ship group. They delivered their speeches to senior students ,votes were counted and students were informed of the outcome. All nomi-nees are to be congratulated for achieving a high standard of their presentation. Student badges will be presented on Friday at commu-nity singing.
It is with great pleasure that I announce the Year 6 Leadership Team for 2019

Japanese
Barndon sensei is using shopping activities for teaching numbers in Japanese and would really appre-ciate donations of any of the first set of 'Little Shops' (not Stickeez) so that there are enough items for small groups or pairs to collaborate. They can be left with Mrs Straiton or at the Front Office or deliv-ered to sensei on Tuesdays in the Library.
They will be most appreciated and well used.
Thank you

lies settle in and feel welcome in school communities.
I am available again this year every Thursday and Friday and can be found in the Junior Staff Office. If there is anything defence families wish to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to email me [email protected] or call me at the school 9208 3900.
