Materials • Cardstock or heavier paper to build collages onto • Various collage papers (magazines, newspaper, construction paper, etc.) • Tempera cakes or watercolors • Rubric/reflection sheet • Pencils • Family photos/images

Correctives & Remediation • Peer and teacher assistance/modeling. • Artist statement may be dictated to a designated teacher or aide • Use of technology to record or type artist statements • Place students in close proximity during teaching & redirection. • Students self-select materials as appropriate and for projects

• Adaptation of art materials and/or self-assessment materials as needed • Review key points of artist statement with student before completion • Offer visual, verbal, and written cues about artists and vocabulary on

white board, handouts, etc.
