How to use this course report
This report includes:1. The number of reviews completed and the number of students registered for the class. Use these data to consider the extent to which your results may reflect the views of the average student.
2. Comparative summary tablesThese present scores (means) for your course as well as the aggregate scores of all courses offered by your Department and Faculty. Means are based on the following weights: 1 (Very poor); 2 (Poor); 3 (Satisfactory); 4 (Good); 5 (Very good). 'Not applicable' and 'Don't know/Not sure' responses have been excluded from this calculation.Use these tables to assess your performance compared to that of your peers and identify strengths and areas for improvement.
3. Detailed tables and graphsDetails of students' ratings in absolute numbers and percentages, including 'Not applicable' and 'Don't know/ Not sure' responses. Use these to get a sense of the spread of students' ratings.
4. Students' unedited comments (where provided)Use these to develop a better understanding of specific reasons for students' ratings and consider possible steps to enhance course design or delivery.

What did you like best about the course?
What did you like best about the course? The interactive lectures
The assignment
was fun and interesting and know when the class die down how to get our attention back, very interactive
not much
The lecturer is a very effective communicator.
It is an interesting course
This course didn't have a mid-term so I chill throughout the semester and waiting till the last minuate to read up on the info.
the lecturer's ability to make one understand the topics covered in the course.
Mr. Random is very passionate about the course and relates it to real life scenarios
The course content was interesting and my lecturer and tutorial leader delivered the information well and also helped us to fully understand it.
The lecture and its content, and the tutorial reiterated the information given in the lecture.
The lecturer's ability to explain the concepts.
Solutions to our tutorials and class exercises were placed on E-learning.
The pacing
The teacher was enthusiastic about what he was teaching. He used a lot of illustrations and scenarios that aided in understanding the content. The Jeopardy Game was also a veryinteresting and stimulating tool that made learning the course content fun to learn.
Mr. Random was thorough in explaining topics and had a positive attitude and cracked jokes
I enjoyed the variety of new things that were taught
The tutorial sessions
The content was very relevant
Nothing
Nothing. I did it because I had to.

What did you like least about the course?
What did you like least about the course?Ac unit mainly down for the latter half of the semester
The method used to relay the information- (monotone lectures)
work load, alot to remember
the reading from the slide
The coursework only consisted of one group project which at 40% I think is too heavily weighted. I think there should have also been an individual project or at least a midterm.
The course load is too heavy and the work is complicated especially since topics are being taught so quickly
The tutor using powerpoint for tutorials and not explaining the questions properly
The assignment
There were many Saturday classes, with no consideration of Sabbath-keepers, and persons with other commitments. The room was often very hot and not conducive for learning. (LT4)
The room we were in, LT4, the AC stopped working and many of our classes were canceled because no other available room was big enough for the class size.
Not enough time to grasp the concept of the course
The lecture room was very hot at times.
The course is only offered in one semester and so is another compulsory course that I had and the clashing was not prevented so classes were missed outside of me willinglywanting to miss them.
The lecture room with no air conditioning
Some of the slides were hard to follow and an example of how to audit the Bank Reconciliation could have been demonstrated in class but was not.
Lecturer is boring and the slides aren't of any value to aid in studying for the final exam
I wish feedback on assessments were provided in sufficient time
The manner in which the final exam was gauged
The project required a lot and was not in any way related to the course objectives
The teaching methods
That coursework is fully dependent on a midterm exam.

How could the course be improved?
How could the course be improved?Online lectures to go with the slides
Ensure that assigned classroom is inductive to learning. The Ac was down for the latter part of the semester
less work load
stop reading from the slide and know the material, explain more so person can understand
The lecture room airconditioner was not working and the room was usually too hot to stay in for the full 2 hrs.
Less topics
The tutor should go through the questions properly rather than just having the answers already prepared
There should be a mid-term or some other assignments not just one group project for a entire 40% that is ridiculous
None Needed.
More innovative way to bring across the mathematical aspect of the course to assist students who are not mathematical inclined to have a better understanding.
It is fine how it is but the timetabling should be done taking into consideration those doing a major in computer science and/with accounting or any other programmed offered where thestudents have compulsory courses that are offered only in first semester. This is so that they can benefit fully from all their lecture sessions that they are paying for. It is not fair that this is notconsidered in the timetabling and class sessions have to be missed outside of they willingly wanting to do so.
The removal of the CLICO Barbados option from the group project
Keep delivering the course in an enthusiastic way and keep the Jeopardy game as a part of the syllabus.
Get a new lecturer and tutors
Connect the requirements for the group project with the course objectives
No changes needed
Lecture want changing rush through the course
By including tutorial participation for 10%, midterm for 25% and a take home examination for 5%. That way students who are weak or have busy work careers are still given an opportunity topass coursework. A course based on a final of 60% and 40% midterm which has difficult math concepts to understand is very difficult.
