I. SITUATION OVERVIEW
The Province of Sorsogon is experiencing fair weather condition.
II. ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN As of 04:00 PM, January 7, 2019
PDRRMO-Sorsogon
On December 26, 2018 the Weather Monitoring Section of this Office closely monitored the developing group of clouds bounded within a through coming from the Pacific Region;
Coordinates with different Council Members for possible implementation of appropriate contingency plans;
Conducted PDRRMC emergency meeting regarding the weather disturbance;
Dispatch relative information and updates obtained from PAGASA;
Plot coordinates provided to view the trajectory path of the typhoon;
Ensure clear lines of communication with all DRRMOs for updates and coordination processes;
Continuous dissemination of information regarding” TD USMAN” thru radio broadcast (DWDR 105.5mhz/SPDRRMO Early Warning System) and its possible effects;
Disseminated information and weather advisory regarding the “TD USMAN” to public, concerned person, PDRRMC Member/DRRMOs thru social media, INFOBOARD and INFOSYS;
PDRRMO at EOC is on BLUE ALERT STATUS effective December 27, 2018;

Consolidated reports from different LGUs; Coordination with PNP,31st, PCG regarding the stranded passenger and
vehicles; Immediate relief operation due to flooding;
Round the clock monitoring.
PDOHO-Sorsogon As of December 30, 2018
Notified all (PHO/MHO) of the escalation of CODE WHITE to CODE BLUE on December 29, 2018;
Coordinated with all (PHO/MHO) on the submission of reports;
Provision of assorted medicines to Irosin RHU 9(P8,518.42), Matnog RHU (P12,510.9)) and Bulan RHU (P 69,961.9)
Provision of assorted IVF to Matnog Medicare Hospital and PantaleonGotladera Memorial Hospital amounting to P3240.00 each;
Mobilized all HRZ to assist in the provision of health services in all RHUs;
Continues monitoring of all health events;
Visited health facilities of all health events;
Visited health facilities in Irosin, Matnog and Bulan using PHO vehicle together with Ms. Jeanette Avanica.

Advised fisher folks in affected Coastal Barangays not to venture out of sea due to weather disturbance;

Strict implementation of MC 02-13 Guidelines on Movement of Vessel during Heavy Weather.
DEPED Province
Coordinated with different school heads and camp coordinator.
Issued DRRM advisory no 01 s 2018 december 27,2018 a memorandum to suspend of Activities Involving learners due to the Tropical Depression Usman and to instruct public schools district supervisor, cluster heads ,division heads ,clusters, DRRM coordinators and school heads to monitor and secure their schools and DEPED property and to submit RADAR;

Issued DRRM advisory no. 1 s 2019 on January 2,2018 on the localized susp of classes in flood affected schools following the provisions of EO.66 and DEPED43 ion the suspension of classes;

The Municipality of Matnog declared a State of Calamity on December 29, 2018 to facilitate the release of the 30% QRF to give assistance to affected families. As of December 28, 2018

At 7:00AM sending communication to CDRRM council for emergency meeting at 11:00 o’clock in the morning.
At 10AM the EOC activated;
CDRRMO visited barangays identified as flood prone areas;

Conducted public announcement in all of 24 barangays;
Issued advisories and updates to council members, BDRRMC’s School heads and the general public;
In close coordination with MDRRMC and other concerned agencies
