The Two Problems Jesus Solved
❖ The Cross of Jesus breaks power of sin, death & devil.
❖ The Kingdom of God in us defeats the works of Satan on earth now!
The Kingdom of God
❖ Jesus announced and demonstrated the coming of the Kingdom of God to earth through preaching, healing and casting out demons.
❖ Jesus preached the “Gospel of the Kingdom” that leads to eternal life!
❖ Spirit-filled Christians can and should release the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven… just as Jesus did.
The Kingdom of God❖ Mark 1:14-15: “After John was put in prison, Jesus went into
Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
❖ Mark 1:23-25: “Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God! “Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!” The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.”

❖ “But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.” (Luke 11:20)
Jesus: Born to Deal with Devil❖ 1 John 3:8b: “The Son of God appeared for this purpose,
to destroy the works of the devil.”
❖ Acts 10:38: “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
❖ Col. 2:15: “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the Cross.
Jesus Vs. Devil❖ Satan is a rogue, microscopic
creature compared to God❖ God could vaporize the devil at
anytime. His days are numbered
❖ Jesus now delegates His works of the Kingdom to us.
❖ What the 12 & 70 did, we now get to do.
❖ The war is over! Satan is already defeated. We get to enforce the victory of Jesus over Satan.

❖ Their greatest weapon is deception, to not be seen
❖ No Christian should fear demons!
❖ Every Christian has authority to deal with demons!
❖ The only power they have over us is what we give them
The Church is Like Job
❖ The devil had to ask God’s permission to afflict Job
❖ God has the devil under His control. He is God’s devil
❖ One, old man’s faith and patience defeated the devil himself!
❖ Job’s victory glorified God in heaven and in hell
❖ God blessed Job TWICE as much for that victory
❖ The Church is like Job. Under attack but under God’s care.
❖ Heaven is our greater blessing—like the one Job got.

Living in The Kingdom of God❖ Stay close to God. Enjoy Him more than anything!
❖ Forgive quickly, confess quickly, avoid sin with all you strength
❖ Know the Bible, memorize & mediate on its truths (Josh. 1:8)
❖ Pray without ceasing and fast as the Lord leads you.
❖ Make God the center of your daily lives
❖ Be honest with your struggles with others
❖ Trust God, praise God in every painful situation ( 1 Thess. 5:18, James 1)
❖ Be humble. Ask for help. Stay in fellowship
❖ Avoid any type of addiction. Confess, repent and get help.
