We received this letter that I thought I would share
with you:
“True Story- After leaving high school in 1993, in 2008(15 years later) I finally mustered up enough courage togo enroll at WCCCD. After the admissions departmentreviewed my history, they wisely recommended a skilledtrade ie: automotive, HVAC, etc.
I didn’t have a clue, never really dealt with computers andthougt you had to play sports or be rich to go to college. All I knew was that I wanted to be an attorney! But it wasMel Allen at the Downtown Campus that called me in hisoffice and helped with my financial aid and also to pickout my courses that first semester.
WCCCD has some good professors, that helped to lay thefoundation for my BA at University of Detroit Mercy andmy law degree!”
