Master Project: Modelling & Simulation The Computational Biology Group (Prof Dagmar Iber, www.cobi.bsse.ethz.ch) at D-BSSE, ETH Zurich is offering projects concerned with the data-based modelling and simulation of organogenesis. The Master projects can focus on a wide range of aspects:
Ø Development and Analysis of Mathematical Models of Biological Regulation Ø Simulation of Organogenesis (using COMSOL for FEM simulation or the C++ based framework LBIBCell for cell-based tissue modelling) Ø Image Analysis, in particular of lightsheet data, to obtain Data for Parameter Inference Ø Development of Numerical Methods for Parameter Inference and Simulation Ø Statistical Analysis of scRNASeq Data
