MarcEdit
MarcEdit is a metadata editing software suite used primarily to create and manipulate MARC records.
It was developed by Terry Reese, in response to a major database clean-up project on the Oregon State University’s library catalogue. After it proofed to be a huge success, he made the application available to the library community for anyone to download and use.
