CONCEPT
OPEN MIND FEST MARBELLA is: • An annual international festival of harmonious living and mindful family values;• A charity and nonprofit project that supports children, animals and plants; • An educational project that promotes a conscious lifestyle for both adults and children;• An open-air event, filled with music, dance, creativity and healthy food.
Our Mission: The mission of the Festival is to gather like-minded individuals around the idea of Consciousness, Health and Wellbeing. Bringing together the physical, social, intellectual and spiritual sides of life, we hope to go deeper into these 4 key areas to create a Harmonious Lifestyle for all.

Individuals, children, couples and families who: • Strive towards personal growth and happiness, to be in harmony with themselves and the world• Oriented on family and family values, and respect the elder generation;• Interested in conscious child education and who wish to pass on their wisdom to the younger generation;• Have a pro-active attitude.

TOPICS OF THE FESTIVAL
• Practices for maintaining health and accumulation of vital energy: yoga, qigong, breathing techniques, meditation, energy work, dancing, etc.
• Lighter nutrition: vegetarianism, veganism, raw food, fruitarianism, liquidarianism and living off prana.
• Activities that are designed to work with inner potential and its manifestation;
• Techniques that open your creativity.
• Family culture. Responsibilities of men and women within a family;
• Children. Their development. Conscious education.
• Understanding of the individual as part of the whole Universe. • Self-realization through selfless service and helping those in
need.
There will be 5 main halls and one open area with a stage for workshops, lectures and music events.
The program will be for both adults and children:
1. Lectures, workshops, seminars on all topics mentioned previously;
2. Creative classes; 3. Active exercises: hiking in the mountains and
walks out in nature; 4. Healthy food and artisanal crafts market; 5. Cooking classes; 6. Music program and sound healing; 7. Charity activities: “The book from Child to
Child”, Open Mind Park reconstruction, “Find your canine companion”.

60 conscious and creative individuals from all over the world will gather to share their experiences, wisdom, and skills for us to learn, communicate and to connect with like-minded people in an atmosphere of openness, joy, warmth, friendship and mutual understanding.

The following programs for children will run throughout the entire Festival:- Creative classes (drawing, singing, Tibetan Singing Bowls); - Yoga for children;- Dancing; - Meditations;- Holi disco for kids.

ACTIVITIES
OPENHEART PROJECTS
Tasks:• To collect books for children in need;• To create motivation for participants of the Festival to become
mentors for orphans.
Activity Description: For children, books will be the “entrance tickets” for the Festival;
How it will be done:• The books will be gathered by volunteers during registration;• The topics for the books needed will be on the Festival’s website; • All gathered books will be delivered to the children in need and to
low-income families with children.

Tasks: • To help animals living in shelters; to create motivation to take care
of the animals personally.• Educational activity to grow responsibility and humane values.Activity description: • Interaction between animals and guests of the Festival. How it will be done:• Triple-A Shelter will bring 8 dogs to the Festival at Thursday,
September 14;• Guests of the Festival can feed and walk the dogs;• It will be proposed to guests to take the liked dog to home from
the shelter.

OPENHEART PROJECTS
Tasks: • To attract citizens attention to the environment;• To clean the territory of the Open Mind Park in Elvira.Activity description: • The place for the planting of trees, the “Alleys of Yoga”, “Alley of Guru”, “the Stone of Happiness” and the “Alcove
of open thoughts” are agreed with the city administration of Marbella. How it will be done:• The participants of the Festival will plant trees and create the “Open Mind Park” of Marbella. A local nursery
garden will support the activity. • Money for the activity will be collected by volunteers during first 3 days of the Festival.

HEALTHY FOOD & ARTISANAL GOODS MARKET
The festival will feature a healthy food and artisanal goods market that will include:
• Restaurants and stalls with healthy organic food;• Local farmers and organic food producers;• Local chefs, specializing in the preparation of healthy products; • Producers of "live" chocolate and confectionary; • Cooking workshops and presentations;• Stands will natural products and hand made goods.
Each member of the market will occupy a separate stand. All guests will be able to communicate with the market representatives, to receive advice if necessary, to learn a recipe and to taste and buy organic food and products.
HOLI DISCO
OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE FESTIVAL
The official opening ceremony of the Festival will take place on September 13th.
Everyone will be able to attend the Festival for free with only one condition: free entrance in exchange of a book for children.
The following program will run during 1st day:
- Crystals, artisanal crafts market;- Healthy restaurant and bar with live music;- Official opening ceremony;- Concert;- Holi disco.
CHARITY AND NONPROFIT PROJECT
Open Mind Fest Marbella is charity and nonprofit project.
All money collected from Sale of tickets, stalls on the Health Market and monies donated by sponsors will firstly help to cover organization expense of the Festival.
The balance will be handed over to and for: 3 main OPEN HEART PROJECTS taking place during the Festival:
• To develop, implement and open the Open Mind Park in Marbella;
The whole Organization Team and Speakers at the Festival are working as Volunteers.
Big input into the Festival (equipment, announcement, support and help) is made by Marbella City Administration and Festival’ Partners:- Art of Living; Art-mundo, Triple-A; Ventura Properties and La Mairena.
