Facility Information Database, a Management Tool
Many sites are already using electronic based information for management decisions.
TYSP, IFI Crosscut and other Site documents depend on data in FIMS or other local information systems that contain various facility information.
At ORNL, senior managers are using FIMS data for many routine decisions; and there is an expectation that the data is current, accurate and reproducible.
