The origins of the phrase ‘thinking
outside the box’ are obscure; but it was popularized in part
because of a nine-dot puzzle, which John
Adair claims to have introduced in 1969

“Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at
the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not
believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the
gospel to…
…every creature. He who believes and is baptized
will be saved; but he who does not believe will be
condemned.’”Mark 16:14-16
“Now when they had gone through Phrygia
and the region of Galatia, they were
forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had
come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit
them. So passing by Mysia…
…they came down to Troas. And a vision
appeared to Paul in the night. A man of
Macedonia stood and pleaded with him,
saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ Now after he had seen the vision, immediately
we sought to go to Macedonia…
