    Lieutenant Governor to visit Brantford Toronto, June 9, 2015. Her Honour the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will conduct an official visit to Brantford on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. The visit is part of Her Honours continued program of travel to communities across the province. Her Honour said: I look forward to visiting Brantford, and to meeting with residents and their representatives. This visit will emphasize local conservation efforts in Greenwich Mohawk Lake District, and I am pleased to have a chance to learn about the ongoing collaboration surrounding this important environmental resource.

    Itinerary Wednesday, June 10, 2015

    10:15 a.m. Arrival The Lieutenant Governor arrives at Brantford City Hall and will participate in a courtesy call with Mayor Chris Friel. Her Honour will sign the citys guest book. Brantford City Hall, 100 Wellington Square, Brantford Photo opportunity City Hall media contact: Maria Visocchi, 519-732-9305, [email protected] 10:30 a.m. Civic reception Her Honour will deliver brief remarks during a civic reception attended by the Brantford Mayor and city councillors. Charlie Ward Room Open to media 11 a.m. Roundtable discussion Her Honour will join with members of Brantfords environmental policy advisory committee, Brant Waterways, and city staff overseeing remediation and redevelopment projects underway in the Greenwich Mohawk Lake District, and will discuss ongoing conservation efforts. The teams working on these projects consist of members representing the three levels of government, First Nations communities, local conservation authorities, and the general public. Closed to media
