Let’s Act TogetherLithuania
March 26th - 31st, 2017
Sunday
We drove almost 10 hours by bus to Lithuania
First place where we went, was the Hill of Crosses
It was almost like a labyrinth
It was really interesting, big and beautiful
MondayFirst we all gathered in the hall, where we
talked about our countries and about
Lithuania.
Lithuanians performed their national
dance.
We listened to and sang beautiful songs,
too.
Then the students gave us a tour around
the school.
Still MondayAfter a few lessons at school, we
went to the center of the city.
The Lithuanian English teacher
showed us some sculptures.
We saw the river and lots of boats.
We saw some old beautiful houses
in town.
And that was our Monday.
Lithuanians later took us to cafes
and an amusement park.
TuesdayOn Tuesday we had 2 music lessons and a
dance lesson
Then we had sport lessons
We played hot potato, football, dodgeball and
lots of other games
We had such an amazing time
Wednesday
● On wednesday, we went to Nida, Neringa.
● We visited the Hill of Witches.
We saw a lot of wooden figures
But this is an unlucky
gate. If you walk through
the gate, you will have bad
luck forever.
Neringa`s name legend...
...is about Neringa and Naglis.
After that, we went to
watch and walk on
sanddunes...
...and paint some weather vanes.
● A weather vane, wind vane
is an instrument for showing
the direction of the wind.They
are typically used as an
architectural ornament to the
highest point of a building.
Thursday
On Thursday, we went to a gallery.
We watched the paintings of Lithuania’s people, saw how colors mix, when the
spinner is spinning and did our own unique spinners and some other cool
crafts.
Still ThursdayAfter being in the gallery, we were really hungry, so off we went
eating.
After the lunch break, we had a bit free time so we went to a
sculpture park and had some fun in the fresh air.
Further we went to the Art/Free time activities School and we got to
try 1 lesson (art, drama, dance etc.).
After the Art School some of us went to see a 23 floor building (Viva
La Vida) and the view was amazing.
Thank you for a wonderful
week!
See you in Latvia!
