Identified Goals for Improvement: NCLB Performance Goal 1: By 2014-2015, all students will reach high standards, at a minimum attaining proficiency or better in reading/language arts and mathematics. NCLB Performance Goal 2: All limited English proficient students will become proficient in English and reach high academic standards, at a minimum attaining proficiency or better in reading/language arts and mathematics. NCLB Performance Goal 3: All students will be taught by highly qualified teachers. NCLB Performance Goal 4: All students will be educated in learning environments that are safe, drug free, and conducive to learning. NCLB Performance Goal 5: All students will graduate from high school. Local Performance Goal 6: All schools will be involved in a variety of parent and community collaborations. Annual Measurable Objective(s): Increase reading achievement for all students. CRCT in Reading/Language Arts and EOCT in ELA: By 2007 - 74.55% of students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2008 - 78.18% of students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2009 - 81.82% of students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2010 - 85% of students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2011 – 90% of all students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2012 – 93% of all students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2013 – 94% of all students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards. By 2014 - 96% of all students in all subgroups will meet or exceed the standards.
