Ifthisprayerisreciteduponawakeningallthatismeaningfulwillbeaccomplished.Ifrecitedbeforesleep,excellentdreamswillbeobserved.Ifrecitedpriortogoingtoanothercountryorplace,therewillbevictoryinalldirections.Ifrecitedbeforebeginninganactivity,thedesiredpurposewillincrease.Ifrecitedregularlyoneslifeexpectancy,reputationandendowmentswillincrease.Happinessandprosperitywillbefullyendowedandonespurposewishfullfillinglyaccomplished.Allnegativitiesandobscurationswillbecleansedresultinginhigherrebirthandultimateliberation.AlltheseaccomplishmentsarethesupremewordsoftheConquerors.

TheNature,anunceasingandunifiedconfigurationofluminousclarity,DwellsasthedisplayofthespontaneouslypresentFiveCertainties.SambhogakayaLama,DechenDorje,heedme!Pleasegranttheblessingstoperfectgreatabilityinmeditation.Compassionwithoutbias,pristinewisdomfreefromalllimitation,Dwellsastheessenceofallpervadingnakedawarenessemptiness.NirmanakayaLama,DrodulLingpa,heedme!PleasegranttheblessingstoaccomplishgreatprogressinAction.Theoriginalnatureofonesownawarenessisunchangingandunmoving.WhateverarisesistheexpressionoftheDharmakayaneithergoodnorbad.SinceawarenessofnownessisactuallytheBuddha,ThecompletelyfreesereneLamaisrevealedinonesinnermostheart.WhenthisoriginalmindisrealizedastheverynatureoftheLama,Thereisnoneedforwhining,contrivedprayersmadewithgraspingandattachment.Bylettinggointhefree,naturalflowofuncontrivedawareness,Notholdingwhateverarises,theblessingsofselfliberationareobtained.Throughfabricatedpractice,thereisnotimetoachieveenlightenment.Thismeditationproducedthroughmentalanalysisandintellectisadeceivingenemy.Now,conceptualizationfallsapartwiththeabandonofamandman.Letthislifebespentinastateofuninhibited,nakedease!Whateveronedoes,joyfulPractictioneroftheGreatPerfection!Inanycompany,happyLineageSonoftheLotusBorn!ProtectorwithoutrivalGreatTreasureRevealingLama!TeachingsbeyondcompareHeartEssenceoftheDakinis!Havingdispelledtheheartsdarkness,greatignorance,initsownplace,Theundiminishedsunofluminousclarityshinescontinuously.ThisgoodfortuneisthekindnessoftheLama,theonlyfathe.Unrepayablekindness!RemembertheLama!

First:ThePreparation:therecitationofthefourreflectionswhichreversethemind.

NAMO.Homage!Lama,infallibleconstantprotector,(youwho)know!Thefreedomsandthefavorableconditionsofthis(humanbirth)are



extremelydifficulttoobtain.Everythingbornisimpermanentandboundtodie.Theresultsofvirtuousandunvirtuousactions(whicharecauses)areinexorable.Thethreerealmsofcyclicexistencehavethenatureofanoceanofsuffering.Rememberingthis,maymymindturntowardstheDharma!

Thus,recitingasmanytimesaspossible,dothementaltraining.

Second:TheactualPreliminaryPractice.

First:Thegoingforrefuge.Believethattherootteacher,himself,intheformofGuruRinpoche,theessenceoftheembodimentoftherefugefieldoftheThreeJewels,isactuallysittinginfront(ofone)inthesky.

FromnowuntilattainingtheheartofenlightenmentItakerefugeintheLama,theThreeJewels.

Thus,withprostrations,reciteasmuchasonecan.

Second:Thegenerationofbodhicitta:Beseechingtheobjectofrefugetobearwitness.

FromnowuntilSamsarabecomesemptyIshallaccomplishthebenefitsandhappinessofallsentientparentbeings.

Thus,dothementaltrainingthebodhicitta.

Third:TheAccumulationofMeritMandalaOffering:Havingactuallyarrangedthemandalaconfigurationasasymbolicexample:

Thebodies,enjoyments,possessions,(and)gloriesofthesuccessionofallmylifetimesIoffertotheThreeJewelsinordertocompletethetwoaccumulations.

Thus,offerthemandalaasmanytimesaspossible.

Fourth:ThePurificationofObscurations:TheMeditationofVajrasattva.Remaininonesordinarystate.

AboveonesheadisVajrasattva,inseparablefromtheLama.From(Vajrasattvas)body,anectarstreamdescends,purifying(myobscurations.
