We know the problems:

• 1 million more pensioners now than in 2010.• Another million retiring by end of this Parliament.• Rising expectations.• New technologies and medicines increase costs.• 1.7 million NHS employees (65 million citizens).• Rationing of healthcare becoming evident.

Dad is looking much better.

His NEWS was 6 (usually 1 or 2). The Community Nurse gave him IV antibiotics at home rather than admit him again. He had lost weight and was less active but is recovering now.
