Present

Regional Manager, Chartwells, Single Site Secondary and Primary Academies

I currently manage the school catering within a group of single site secondary and primary academy schools within London and Dartford, where I am accountable for all operational aspects of my business day to day, managing individual budgets and accounts using Nexus and SAP. I work in partnership with my clients building strong relationships. I have a complete understanding regarding legislation on Right to Work, DBS and Food Information Regulations.

2014 – 2015

Area Manager, Chartwells, Harris Federation, Secondary and Academies

Working within the secondary and academy sector within the Harris Federation group contract with high profile and very demanding clients. Accountable for all aspects of the operation and profit and loss for 1.6 million turn over. The business included 3 all through schools catering for ages 4 to 18; primary, secondary and 6th form.

2012 – 2014

Medway Council, Children and Adults, School Commissioning and Traded Services Team

Role – Traded Services Lead

Key Responsibilities –

SE7 Partnership – Collating Data and Graphs after engagement with other local authorities looking at a partnership approach for Traded Services to Schools.

SLA Online/Education Services Medway – Liaising with schools Headteachers, bursars, governors to develop the services in which Medway Council provide to schools, Providing an analysis of the Traded Services on offer to Schools, looking at the range and quality of all services, Creating Surveys to schools/service teams to develop the way the Local Authority Trade with Schools, Communicating with Schools through regular Newsletters. Administrator for SLA Online purchasing system – providing usernames/passwords, assisting colleagues when

navigating the system, adding news articles, uploading of service packages.

Kent Sites Maintenance and Repair – Liaising with schools to develop a service package to meet their requirements.

Cleaning productivity - site visits liaising with site managers and bursars

2001 – 2012

Chartwells; Kent and Medway

Various Roles – Area Manager School Catering, Office Assistant – DBS Manager, Manager to Auditors, Project Manager – Complimentary meal campaign Medway Schools. At the start of this position I had only just left school therefore only worked part time with Chartwells whilst studying a BTEC National Diploma In Health Studies at Canterbury College. I then progressed to Christ Church University where I originally wanted to train in becoming a nurse. I soon discovered this was not the career path I wanted to take although I loved the caring for others aspect of this vocation very rewarding. I also worked part time at weekends at this stage in a Residential Home for the elderly. Key Responsibilities –

Completing onsite audits and monitoring service. Overseeing the running of 20 local authority Compass Group Units. Increasing client satisfaction by working closely with all clients to build

up a good repore– Head Teachers, Bursars and Governors through regular communication and site visits.

Staffing and Recruitment. Processing wages via an On Line Labour Management System. Training of colleagues. Ensuring all company, government and legal compliance is achieved.
