certain as Bryce is known to be a pretty good Dad to
everyones young-uns. A family-oriented event, theSand Drags are set for this Saturday while the Mud
Bog is on Sunday. More details can be found inside
todays Buzz. And now for the Wheelers Prayer:
Our lockers, who art in the
diffs, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy traction come, thy will be
done, on mud as it rocks, give us
this day our daily tread.
And forgive us our rollovers,
as we forgive those who roll
against us and lead us not into
bottomless bogholes, but delive
us from breakage for thine th
locker, and the bogger and th
swamper, for ever and ever, amen

But then again, would Ben Franklin have uncoveredthen unknown acts about the nature o lightning andelectricity? Quite a story in itsel but disputed by science
historians i this experiment ever occurred. Te televisionseries MythBusters ound evidence that Franklin wouldhave received a atal current through his heart had theevent actually occurred. Nevertheless, they confirmedthat certain aspects o the experiment were easible -specifically, the ability o a kite with sufficiently dampstring to receive and send to the ground the electricalenergy delivered by a lightning strike.

New research shows the problem with the decliningbee population may be due to increased cell phone usage. Daniel Favre, a researcher at the Swiss FederaInstitute o echnology has ound the signals causehoneybees to become disoriented, leading to their deathsHe discovered that bees made 10 times more noise when
there was a cell phone in use nearby, according to Digitalrends. Te noise, called worker piping is supposed to serveas a signal or the bees to leave the hive. When it is causedby cell phone signals, the bees just stay conused. Worker piping in a bee colony is not requent, andwhen it occurs in a colony, that is not in a swarmingprocess, no more than two bees are simultaneouslyactiveTe induction o honeybee worker piping bythe electromagnetic fields o mobile phones might havedramatic consequences in terms o colony losses due tounexpected swarming, said the report. Since honeybees pollinate 70 percent o the crops onthe planet, the problem is serious. Last year, beekeeperlost 42 percent o their colonies.
Cell phones are killing the bees
