Euronet Point Release Program
Document Description
This document provides a high-level description of the new products, modules, interfaces and features
available in Euronet Software Solutions’ Integrated Transaction Manager® (ITM) 4.5 Point Release. Each
listed product feature includes a high-level functional description and its associated benefits. For more details
regarding the content of this document, please contact a member of the Euronet Software Solutions’ Product
Management team as indicated in the Contacts section.

To enjoy the benefits of new products and features in ITM
Point Releases, clients must meet the following criteria:
Must be on the Euronet maintenance plan
Must be on a “point releasable” version of the
Euronet system
Must have licensed the application within the
product suite for which the features were added
Stay Current with the Point Release Program
Euronet Software Solutions distributes the Point Release
package to qualified clients biennially (once every two years), and encourages every client to stay current by
installing each Point Release. The Point Release package contains the accumulation of new features and
Program Temporary Fixes (PTFs) that have been added to the base product since your initial installation date
or since the last version release. The Point Release distribution will contain the latest release objects, utilities,
appropriate documentation for each product, and the release notes. The release notes include a detailed
description of each modification and the name of every updated program and/or file.
The objective of the Euronet Software Solutions’ Point Release program is to keep each ITM system at the
latest version while providing additional features and functionality. By implementing the Point Release, our
clients benefit from new features and functionality, more effective support, easier mandate installations and
smoother implementations of new projects.

Release Highlights
Profitability Profitability is a combination of revenue attainment and cost containment. The ability to do both of these
things simultaneously can determine the long term success of campaigns while limiting the amount of
exposure that your business may experience during changing times. Euronet enriches the profitability of
financial institutions through solutions focused on cost containment, enhanced profit streams, new revenue
sources, operational efficiencies and solution scalability.
Effectively managing cost-intensive ATM components can greatly impact your level of profitability by driving
operational efficiencies within your ATM service model. The ITM 4.5 Point Release features, such as Cash
Recycler and Check Deposit, are great methods to reduce turnaround time for cash replenishment, increase
accessibility to deposited funds and reduce transportation service costs to your organization. From a cost
perspective, cash replenishment remains one of the highest components in the ATM service model. The Cash
Recycler enables additional cash transactions to be performed at an ATM with fewer cash replenishment
visits. This is because cash deposited can be dispensed in a subsequent cash withdrawal transaction. By
allowing customers to deposit checks at ATMs, the Check Deposit functionality lowers operational costs
associated with accepting and processing checks as well as reducing transportation costs for ATM visits to
retrieve deposited checks. The service also improves the customer experience with faster availability of funds
to the customer’s account.
Automation and integration help to maximize operational efficiency. The Euronet Monitoring Utility (EMU)
Dashboard provides an aggregated system view of ATMs, cash position, modules, nodes and other objects in
the Euronet User Interface. Users also have access to a detailed view of ATMs and their cash position. This
can be integrated with our Operational Alerts enhancement to provide immediate alerts to bank staff
whenever a system event requires attention. Additionally, the Cash Position Consolidation provides the
financial institution with up-to-date currency level information to be able to manage the cash in the ATM,
thereby increasing the uptime of the ATM.
The SWIFT Wire Transfer enhancement eliminates the need for bank staff to re-enter the request into the
SWIFT system. Elimination of the manual process is a significant step toward creating a more efficient and
streamlined process. The One-Time Password feature removes the need for hardware tokens and provides
the same benefits of Two Factor Authentication functionality.
Whether a financial institution has a legacy ATM hardware estate or is starting anew, a focus on cost
optimization can deliver financial benefits in the long run. Euronet’s Multivendor Self-Service Software Suite
is a vendor agnostic solution that runs on any ATM manufacturer’s hardware. The open technology supports
easy integration to other banking channels and systems. The remote software distribution function enables
screen changes and software upgrades to be easily deployed across the ATM fleet giving a unified operational
environment and customer experience. This delivers inherent benefits of a single source solution as opposed
to running multiple vendors’ software.

With the introduction of the Statistics Dashboard and the enhancements to the Euronet Monitoring Utility
in our ITM 4.5 release, Euronet is providing financial institutions with the ability to easily access their data in
a graphical format within the Euronet Software Solutions User Interface. The ability to view data at a high-
level vantage point enables your institution to make informed decisions by analyzing metrics and KPIs that
could greatly impact revenue streams, cost containment, scalability and operational efficiencies across your
card and ATM system.
Euronet understands the importance of revenue generation for your organization. With that in mind, we
have added a number of feature enhancements that can contribute to your bank’s financial growth. Features
such as the enablement of domestic and international Money Transfer at the channel of your choice and
enhancements to Multiple Form Factor, that provide cardholders with an option other than traditional
plastic, offer you opportunities to expand your product portfolio while driving incremental revenues. With
our ITM 4.5 Release, we have added connectivity to Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) and the National Indonesian
switch (NSICCS), as well as provided support for Pulse EMV. With these additional connections, you will have
the ability to reach a much wider audience thereby increasing chances to generate additional revenue from
interchange fees. Additionally, we have added Card Issuing Capability to UnionPay International and an
Islamic Credit product. You can also increase your revenue by driving mark-up income on currency exchanges
revenue by offering our Multicurrency Prepaid Card that gives consumers the flexibility of a single card with
multiple currencies ideally suited for frequent travelers.
Financial Inclusion As our world economies become more global and technologically savvy, we are experiencing scenarios where
first time account holders are requiring more robust solutions that allow them to access funds anywhere,
anytime and on any device. Therefore, “financial inclusion” has come to mean more than just those who do
not meet the traditional banking criteria but has become a catch-all phrase that is synonymous with end
users from many different consumer segments who have very diverse needs. Whether it is access to self-
service channels that cater to debit, prepaid or credit card holders, or POS solutions that allow merchants to
accept multiple forms of payment, banks are finding it necessary to be everything to everyone.
In our ITM 4.5 Release, features such as Cash-Based Content Sales and Cardless Cash Withdrawals and the
ability to purchase Virtual or One-time Use Cards allow banks to meet the needs of a growing consumer
segment that does not fit the mold of the “traditional” banking customer. Cash Based Content Sales provide
choice and convenience to users purchasing mobile airtime or other digital content by offering cash as an
additional payment option. Users are able to receive person-to-person (P2P) payments or emergency cash
by completing a Cardless Cash Withdrawal transaction at the ATM. These functions enable you to acquire
more customers at your ATMs, while Virtual or One-Time Use Cards enable users to make eCommerce
transactions safely and securely.

Showcasing the complete power of Euronet, another quality that makes Euronet Software Solutions unique
in the market is the integration of our software solutions with the services offered by other divisions of
Euronet Worldwide. Those divisions are Ria Financial Services for money transfer and remittance services,
including offerings from HiFX; epay for prepaid service offerings; and EFT for outsourcing and value-add
services. Examples of combined offerings include prepaid mobile top-up, dynamic currency conversion, fraud
management, bill payment, ATM money transfer payout, prepaid digital content, gateway services, and our
iTunes® and other digital content distribution services.
Consumer Experience Industry trends suggest that customers should feel welcomed and acknowledged at any given touch point
throughout their financial experience. Within our ITM 4.5 Point Release, we strive to create opportunities for
your consumers to feel as though they are valuable partners and uniquely appreciated.
Convenience and timeliness of service are customer prerequisites, and our roadmap enhancements support
this. The introduction of ATM Cardholder Preferences Enhancements allow cardholders to save up to 7 of
their favorite transaction preferences, thereby reducing the time they spend clicking through the ATM
screens. This is especially beneficial for complex transactions such as Bill Payments. Banking customers are
able to enroll themselves in Euronet Internet Banking (EIB) through the Self-Enrollment function. Once
registered, they are able to Self-Enroll to the Access and Notify mobile banking services. The Enhanced
Access Functionality allows users to start and stop alert and/or banking services as needed, request help

command list and account alias list, and respond to marketing messages among other functions. The User ID
and Password Recovery function enables Internet Banking users to request forgotten login credentials to be
sent to their preregistered email or phone.
With the implementation of Two Way Actionable Alerts, the interaction between the bank and the consumer
becomes conversational rather than a single direction, merging the interactive and unsolicited models. With
Two Way Actionable Alerts, the customer receives an alert (for example a bill or credit card payment is due)
and can respond to it causing an action (such as a payment). This mechanism also assists in fraud prevention
where the customer is notified about a potentially suspect transaction and is offered to reply with “Fraud,”
which can trigger a notification to the fraud department. Bill Pay Alerts inform a customer when a bill is due
and when it has been paid, freeing them from having to remember whether the bill was paid, thus further
increasing their loyalty to the institution.
ATM and Mobile convergence can be seen in the ATM eReceipt option and Mobile Cash Withdrawal
transaction. With ATM eReceipt, the user enters their phone number to which they wish to receive an SMS
text receipt rather than a paper receipt. Mobile Cash Withdrawal allows a user to stage their transaction
either online or via mobile beforehand. At the ATM, they only need to scan their QR code or enter the
authorization code to collect their funds.
The Internet and mobile phones have become major means of communication between the consumer and
financial institutions. Consumers want access to information at their convenience and financial institutions
are willing to give access within reason. CardholderInControl and Merchant Web Services provide the
potential for integration with the financial institution’s website for access by cardholders and merchants.
Cardholder Initiated Installments give the cardholder the option of contacting the bank to rearrange or
reschedule their credit card balances while providing the financial institution with an extremely effective tool
for delinquency management.
Security/Compliance Euronet Software Solutions continues to invest in functionality that supports your security and compliance
needs.
In addition to the International Card Organization mandates, Euronet ITM 4.5 provides Enhanced EMV
Support for Visa’s VIS 1.5 and VCPS 2.1 contact and contactless EMV as well as MasterCard’s MasterCard
Advance. These EMV updates provide even more card security and position banks to leverage EMV
processing for growth in NFC and payment tokens.
In the card management area, our new Card Inventory System provides a level of control over the life-cycle
of an individual card or bulk stock. The option to Status the Card after invalid PVV or CVV attempts, and the
introduction of eCommerce Transactions Limits and an Overall Card Limit all ensure that payments are not
only flexible but are more secure.
The Euronet Internet Banking and Mobile Banking solutions have been enhanced to increase consumer

security through the use of One-Time Passwords and Two Factor Authentication improvements. The
addition of Multi-Level Authorization for commercial user transactions provides additional layers of
approvals and control.
Omni-Channel and Streamlining Your Payments System Omni-channel strategies require banks to offer seamless and consistent experiences across multiple channels
while maintaining the integrity of their brands and platforms. The ability for multiple device types, such as
ATMs and smartphones to converge is essential to improving the customer’s experience and a critical
component of future business growth. Two examples of such integration are Mobile Cash Withdrawal, using
a smartphone to stage a cash withdrawal transaction using the customer’s account, and ATM eReceipts,
receiving an electronic receipt or alert for a transaction performed at the ATM. Additionally, mobile phones
also provide a channel for originating and receiving person-to-person payments. The transacted value can be
withdrawn from a secure ATM at a later date. By offering a consistent omni-channel experience to your
customers, they are more apt to continue along in the financial relationship.
Whether your customer is accessing services at a physical branch location, via the Internet or mobile phone,
or through your merchant, our integrated solution coupled with extensive use of Web services technologies
allows a cohesive and consistent offering to your customers.

Self Service Payment Solutions
ATM Management Solutions
Multivendor Self-
Service Software Suite
This hardware and vendor agnostic software suite is capable of managing self-service terminals such as ATMs and CDMs. It is a powerful solution that allows customers to scale and maintain consistency across their ATMs regardless of the hardware vendor. The software suite includes a terminal application on the ATM, an ATM server which communicates with the ATM and the transaction processing switch (ITM), and a Terminal Management System with a browser-based user interface. Additional applications such as an ATM Simulator and a Designer application to modify the XML-based screen flows and receipts are also available.
This new product requires additional license and services.
Cash Recycler
This enhancement enables Cash Recycler support for Diebold and Wincor ATMs equipped with the cash recycler devices. The cash recycling capability enables cash-in and cash-out on the same ATM. The cash recycler will accept, validate, sort and store designated denominations of notes in the recycle cassettes. Subsequently, when a customer requests a cash withdrawal, the requested cash is then dispensed from these recycle cassettes.
This feature requires additional license and services.
No-Envelope Check
Deposit
This enhancement allows the deposit of bulk checks at NCR and Wincor ATMs equipped with the check depository hardware devices. The check depository hardware is capable of scanning electronic images of deposited checks, which are transmitted to an image-processing host platform and can also be printed on the cardholder receipt.
This feature requires additional license and services.
ATM eReceipt
Using the Notify product, ATM users now have the ability to receive electronic receipts via SMS text instead of paper receipts. This new paperless option provides added convenience for customers with an easy way to track ATM transactions and helps reduce carbon footprint.

Cash-Based Content
Sales
This enhancement to our ATM Recharge module provides the ability for users to purchase mobile airtime or other digital content with cash. It enables you to offer the services to cash preferred users, in addition to card users. To purchase content with cash, the user is prompted to insert cash into the cash depositor-equipped ATM after selecting the item they wish to purchase.
Cash Position
Consolidation
This enhancement consolidates cash counters within the ATM system. It provides a single source of data to monitor and manage currency levels within the ATMs. The cash counters are retrieved from the ATMs. The cassette counts of the same denomination are combined and cash is displayed by denomination in the ATM and EMU cash position screens.
Enhanced Device Status

Mobile Banking Solution
Mobile Cash Withdrawal
Using the mobile Web channel, a user is able to stage a cash withdrawal transaction by requesting a mobile cash withdrawal authorization code either in clear text or QR code form. Split SMS Message
To overcome the limitation on the number of characters that can be sent in a single SMS text message transmission, long messages are split into smaller messages. The messages are not concatenated but sent as separate messages with message labels indicating which block of data is received [e.g. Msg 1/2 for the first 160 characters, and Msg 2/2 for the second 160 characters].
Batch Enrollment
A batch enrollment process allows enrollment of prepaid cardholders as SMS text banking and Notify alert users based on data received in the issuer input maintenance file and default templates configured via the Euronet Software Solutions User Interface.
Self-Enrollment
A self-enrollment option is available in Euronet Internet Banking which enables users to enroll themselves to the Access and Notify channels.
Bill Pay Alerts

Using the Notify product, ATM users now have the ability to receive electronic receipts via SMS text instead of paper receipts. This new paperless option provides added convenience for customers with an easy way to track ATM transactions and helps reduce the carbon footprint.

Once the user is validated, the User ID and/or Password will be sent to the registered email or mobile number on file.
Self-Enrollment
A self-enrollment option has been added to Euronet Internet Banking which enables users to enroll themselves for Internet Banking. This puts registration and management in the hands of the user and reduces customer service costs. Additionally, once registered for EIB, users are able to enroll themselves to the Access and Notify channels.

Enhancements have been added to the ATM Cardholder Preferences functionality. Cardholders may now personalize up to 7 of their favorite ATM transactions. Details of each transaction stored include language, transaction, account, amount and receipt preference. Additionally, complex transactions such as bill payment and mobile recharge are now possible options for favorite transaction. Where a customer has more than one account of the same type, the account number is also stored as part of the favorite transaction. The cardholder may also choose to save a transaction as a favorite transaction upon successful completion of that transaction. Lastly, it is possible to save only a language preference without actually setting a favorite transaction.
Advertising Coupon
Through a partner solution and Web services functions, ITM is able to offer powerful CRM-based targeted marketing to the ATM delivery channel. In addition to displaying advertisements that match the cardholder’s profile, capturing customer feedback and delivering customized screens and receipts, ITM is also able to print a separate coupon receipt as part of the CRM-based targeted advertisement. This enables financial institutions to promote their products and services in a separate coupon receipt.

and its clients. This feature leverages the mobile number as the single point
of contact as well as an identification method of the cardholder.

This new product provides the ability to securely distribute required card
information to the cardholder to enable Internet or card not present
purchases. This product offers a feature that allows Virtual Cards to be
converted to other form factors. The ability to convert Virtual Cards allows

In addition to the ability to provide Virtual Cards, the product is able to
generate One-Time Purchase Cards which address the unique need to have
a card for only one purchase. To ensure security, once the intended purchase

Application File Processing
This feature enables the exchange of files between prepaid issuers and their
clients for the purpose of setting up new prepaid cardholders as well as auto-
