When you enter the Ad-hoc query for the first time it works without retrieving the 'Hit List'.That is because all the data tables are empty and so the system automatically retrieves all necessary data.

To get a consistent result when running your query, always press the 'Hit List' button:

1. Open an Ad-hoc query;2. Select the fields;3. Press the 'Hit List' button;4. Press the 'Output' button;5. Go back to the selection screen;6. Change the field selection;

7. Press the 'Hit List' button;

7. Press the 'Output' button again;8. Ah-hoc query is correctly returned.
