EDITORIAL
It is a matter of immense pride for all of us that the Rajiv Gandhi National
University of Law has come up with the latest issue of the RGNUL Law Review
the RLR Volume VIII Number II, July-December 2018. As the University
continues to rise in the National Rankings, this achievement is yet another
feather in our cap. The Editorial Board has once again brought forth to the
readers another interesting intellectual treat. Exemplifying the ideals of academic
integrity and our desire to be academically rigorous, sensitive to culture,
attentive to socio, legal, economic and political justice, and helpful not only for
scholars but also for government officials, activists, judges, lawyers and
claimants, this issue contains an exciting and diverse menu of research papers
that will enlighten and fascinate the readers. This Referred Law Review has
eleven articles on diverse significant legal issues pertaining to varying fields of
law like the Impact of Poverty on Environment, An analysis of the efficacy of
reconciliation provisions in saving Hindu Marriages, Cyber Security concerns
have been addressed with respect to the Right to be forgotten, the medico-Legal
implications of Incest child rape have been discussed with focus on the suffering
of Child Rape Survivor, The concept and Issues of E-governance in India have
been analyzed, the intricate debate with respect to Dispute Resolution, An insight
into the concept of Restitution of Conjugal Rights from the angle of the right to
Privacy has been explored, A socio-legal perspective of policy implications of
the Indian Elderly Women has been deftly dealt with. An Analysis of the legal
implications of Comparative Advertising is an interesting read and Justice to
Juvenile Delinquents have been discussed in this Volume. I take this opportunity
to also express my heartfelt thanks and immense gratitude to all the eminent and
distinguished Referees associated with the Journal for their painstaking deep and
fine evaluation and corrections as without their silent efforts this Journal would
not have seen the light of the day. It has been a pleasure reading the research
findings of the contributors and editing this volume ,which I am confident will
enrich the readers. I sincerely thank all the contributors for their efforts and
patience in dealing with our Editorial Board on finalizing their work. I also
fervently hope that the authors shall continue to write and make the future
publications of RLR an enriching experience to all the readers
