INVITATION FOR RE-TENDER (NCB)

25 Additional Terms and Conditions:-

i)Tender security mentioned against the works should be furnished along with the tender in the form of Bank Draft, Pay Order or irrevocable Bank guarantee from any schedule Bank of Bangladesh in favor of the Executive Engineer, Gaibandha District, Gaibandha. .

ii) The Tender Notice will also form a part of the contract and will be binding upon the contractor.

iii) The Contractor will quote rate for individual items in figure and words.

iv) Issue of work order may be delayed due to unforeseen reasons for which tenderer’s claim whatsoever will not be entertained.

v) In case of any error detected in the Bill of Quantities or other documents at any time, the decision of the Executive Engineer, Gaibandha District,

Gaibandha, will be final.

vi) Tender documents should be submitted along with tender notice with all the addendum, Valid Trade License, VAT Registration, IT certificate, TIN

Number, experience certificate, turnover certificate, payment certificate, Nationality certificate, Business Address, Declaration about legal capacity to enter into the contract, Litigation history(if any), Original copy of tender purchasing money receipt, liquid assets certificate etc. All copies should be attested by

1st class Gazetted Officer with his name, designation and official seal, falling which the tender will be treated as non-responsive and will be rejected.

vii) Insertion of any additional Clause in the tender will render it to summary rejection. There should not be any over writing in any place. Any wrong entry shall be penned through and rewritten clearly and initialed. Corrections by correcting fluid shall not be accepted.

viii) No change in accepted tender cost shall be entertained for increase or decrease of material and labour cost, taxes, duties, freight etc. even if made

effective through Government legislation. The rates will remain unchanged throughout the contract execution period.

ix) The tenderer’s should quote rate considering cost of materials, VAT & all sorts of taxes as applicable, labours etc. for the potable period of completion of the work.

x) The Detail Design Drawings will not be sold with tender document; however the interested Tenderer’s may see them in the office of the undersigned and

the Project Director’s office in DPHE Bhaban Dhaka. The Detail Design Drawings will be included with the formal tender and work order.

xi) No compensation will be entertained due to delay of handing over the construction site to the contractor.

xii) The procuring entity reserves the right to accept any or reject any or all tenders without showing any reasons.

xiii) All Tenderer’s should fulfill the above terms and conditions and also the conditions laid down in PPR 2008 shall form integral part of tender document.

Terms and conditions of the tender notices are integral part of tender documents.
