Stitch the bag front with the paws/wings/tails to the bag backpiece with the head. Begin and end this stitching approximately5-7 mm from the little edge flaps, so that the seam does notinterfere the the cord threaded through the casing. Be sure toleave a small opening for turning in the lining half.

Because the penguin‘s headis a bit wider, it is a goodidea to fold in the sides ofthe penguin head piece andpin them out of the way, sothat the head does not getcaught in the side seams.

Close the turning opening with a few handstitches. Stitch a casing around the topedge.

Cut the round braided cord into two equal piecesapprox. 120 cm long. Thread one piece of cordfrom the left hand side and through the frontbag piece casing, out, and then in through theback piece casing and exiting again on the left.Thread the other piece of cord from the righthand side and through the front bag piececasing, out, and in through the back piece casingand exiting again on the right side. Thread oneend of each cord through the correspondingbottom loop and tie the ends together into aknot.
