AROUND THE GLOBE DEMONSTRATE AMAZING UNITY AT THE INDUSTRY'SFIRST INTERNATIONAL TELE-FORUM

(live-PR.com) - It’s approaching 9:30 PM on a balmy spring evening in Istanbul Turkey, when the

conference call coordinator reads out…”and the winner of the first International Unity Day Tele-

Forum drawing is….Borislava Tzvetkova!” She jumps to her feet and starts celebrating the‘piece de resistance’ of what has been a very long, yet rewarding day.

Earlier that day,

Borislava had boarded a plane from her native Bulgaria, where she is the General Manager atSterling Serviced Offices in Sofia, in order to meet up with her counterparts and competitors in

Istanbul to participate on a video-conference call that joined attendees from 18 locations, in 9

different countries around the world, as part of the OBCAI LMN Unity Day Tele-Forum. Theevent was designed as a forum for Business Center Owners and Operators to share experiences

and ideas from various markets world-wide . . . a first of its kind for the Serviced Office /

Business Center industry.

“It was a very exciting and valuable experience for us to join this

great group,” offered Borislava, a sentiment that was repeated by

many others who joined in on the Tele-Forum. Wendy Spreenberg, a business center and realestate industry consultant with Site Resolutions in Chicago, added “This is the kind of event that

really brings the serviced office industry closer together to take stock and explore ideas, at a time

when the world’s real estate markets can really use our unique brand of officing solutions.”

The event was sponsored by The Office Business Center Association International (OBCAI), and

two of its Local Member Network chapters: Office Business Center Association of Canada(OBC-CAN), and the Office Business Center Association of New York (OBCANY). OBCAI

President Carrie Gates, of Barrister Executive Suites, Inc. in Southern California, opened the 90-

minute video-conferenced session with a resounding call to seize the special opportunity that the

current office rental and economic climate poses, with the increased demand for full-service andready-to-move-into office space…a demand that the business centers throughout the world are

 primed to instantly satisfy.

“Technology advancements, increased workplace efficiency, and the current economic climate

have all combined to make this a very unique time in the life cycle of our industry,” added

President Gates during her keynote presentation at the beginning of the Tele-Forum. “Regardlessif it’s an established multi-national corporation, or a budding small business, our low start-up

costs and flexible terms provide the kind of low risk option that companies demand these days in

order to retain more of their working capital, while at the same time allowing them more time to

focus on their core business. Our industry is the ideal answer to the challenges that entrepreneurseverywhere are facing.”

Moderating the video-conference was OBCAI Board Member and Local Member Network

Committee Liaison Isabel Garcia of Global Prime Office Network in Montreal, who seemed tocapture the essence and spirit of the event when she noted, “It was exhilarating to hear so much

enthusiasm as we globe-trotted via video and audio during the 90-minute call, compared notes onmarket conditions, and brainstormed ideas with executives who provided valuable, expert and

diverse perspectives, such as David Alberto of Avanta Managed Offices in London, who shared

insights into both their UK and India markets, as well as the keen observations and input from

our friends in Spain, who were represented by Oscar Lopez from Affirma Business Centers inMadrid.”

From New York, to Milan, to Seattle, to New England, to Columbus, Ohio and many other stops in between, the Service Office Business Center world suddenly got a little smaller, a lot closer,

much more chummier, and better informed, thanks to the first ever OBCAI International Unity

Day Tele-Forum … just ask Borislava from Sofia, Bulgaria!
