Why Public Libraries and OSA ?
Carnegie libraries were built in USA, Canada, UK and other countries during 1883-1929, worked as a key catalyst for economic development
Excellent Public Library System in Kerala and first digital state in our country with 95 % broadband connectivity and 100% mobile penetration at Panchayat level.
Many developed countries have well-integrated Public Library System

Current Culture Minister Sri Ashok Chandra Panda, Mass Education Minister Sri Debi Prasana Mishra, MLA Sri Priyadarsi Mishra participated in OSA Public Library Panel discussion in Washington, DC in July 2015. The process is with Select Committee and was to be done by end of Dec. 2015
Recently OSA has urged the CM to expedite the Notification of Library Rules
