Making Knowledge sharing more glamorous and appealing Role play with International students DirectionWill organize an event on campus where will ask the international students to perform the role of a - A French (or other nationality)CEO interacting with a probable Indian client or - A hiring manager looking for a an employee of different cultures - A union leader in talk with a plant manager - An entrepreneur trying to get permission from government officials We can also do an event of DUMB CHARADES game with the international students which will help us understand cross culture ways of understanding

FeasibilityAll PGPM, IM, HR students will be excited for such an interaction, problem will be to make the international students ready and devote their time Another problem will be that with no stakes involved it will be difficult to prevent the students to take it seriously rather than a only for fun participation

Opinion Polls DirectionHumans are usually interested in sharing and arguing for their own opinionsWill start a weekly poll concerning global economic, political and social issuesHave a strong belief that people will get more involved when their personal opinion will change the numbers and they can stand and argue for their opinions

MagazineDirectionWill start a bi-monthly magazine discussing and analyzing the major global happenings Will get participation from all the students whether FPM, PGP, MDP students ,getting ones article published in a magazine is encouragement for everyoneMight go for E-copy of magazines to save costs

Virtual Lectures by Internationally faculty DirectionThere are a number of world renowned faculty at the campuses where some of Impulse members are There are a numbers of lectures by faculties from Harvard, Wharton and other B schools which on many occasions conduct web sessionsMany of these faculty have god like stature in management and people will be interested to attend their lectures

FeasibilityWill have to get permission from the college to conduct such eventsConsidering packed schedule have to look for a common time

Increasing our Involvement in IMPERIUM Conflict resolution Event/Case study - Will have a situation involving conflicts due to cross culture - will try to get student participation from different B schools in India and ESCP as the focus will be culture problems

Role Play - If the role play first experiment gets successful we can conduct these kind of workshops in Imperium also

Can we go on field? Live projects DirectionA small ecommerce/company in trying to get into middle east, Europe or some other country might need to understand culture there and vice versa If we can get to do country analysis/culture analysis for these companies as a live project would be a great boost for the clubCompanies do hire consultants for this kind of work

FeasibilityVery difficult to find such a company looking for operations outsideWill need contacts, still we can give it a try.

Collaboration with a Think TankDirectionThere are a lot of institutions and Think tanks involved in the international studies and cross culture studiesWe can try to collaborate with them for the analysis and the resource sharing

FeasibilityMight work as, as a college we have a good brand image so a think tank might be interested in getting some minds do their work
