OnbehalfoftheInternationalOlympicCommittee(IOC)recognizedWorldGoverningBodyfortheSportofCheer(Cheerleading&PerformanceCheer),theInternationalCheerUnion(ICU),wethankyouforyourdedicationtothepositiveadvancementofourSportinyourcountryandthroughouttheworld.Asapowerfuladvocateforthosetrulycommittedtothiseffort,theICUispleasedtoconfirmthefollowing:TheInternationalCheerUnion(ICU)herebyrecognizesUSAFEDERATIONFORSPORTCHEERING(USACHEER)astheNationalGoverningBodyfortheSportofCheerfortheUNITEDSTATESOFAMERICA(USA).UCACHEERhasbeenafullmemberingoodstandingoftheICUsince15October2009,andwithinaccordanceoftheICUstatutes-USACHEERistheonlyICUNationalFederationfortheUSA.AsacknowledgedbytheICUGeneralAssemblyandstatutesoftheICU,thisstatusisgrantedundertheconditionsofcontinuousgoodstanding.AllrightsandprivilegesassociatedwiththishonoranddistinctionwillbeprovidedonconditionofanongoingcommitmenttotheICUidealsandprinciplesofwhichconfirmtheinclusiveandpositiveadvancementofCheerintheUSAandaroundtheworld.Thiscommitmentisfocusedonprovidingbenefitandopportunityforourathleteswhoparticipate.TheICUcontinuestolookforwardtoprovidingstructureandsafety,aswellasbalancedinputandgovernancetoassistthevariousstagesofdevelopmentinwhichourSportfindsitselfinmanynationsacrosstheglobe.WeappreciateverymuchthecontributionsyouhavemadetothedevelopmentoftheSportofCheerinyournation,andaroundtheworld.Congratulationsonthisachievement,andwelookforwardtoworkingcloselywithyouonthisexcitingendeavor.YoursinSport,
