1. Share this information with the entire special programs department.
2. Have every teacher make a list of students with math goals/needs listed on their IEP (these are the students that need to be assessed 3 times this year).
3. Have teachers use the Google Form (http://tinyurl.com/ireadyteacher) to enter in their teacher info for every grade level of students they will assess.
4. Have teachers use the Google Form (http://tinyurl.com/ireadystudent) to enter in every student that will be assessed in i-Ready as identified by step 2.
5. Direct teachers to the i-Ready guides in the Resource tabs as well as the i-Ready support page on the Wiki. Have them familiarize themselves with the program.
6. Print out and closely follow the “Getting Started – Diagnostic” guide (under the Resources tab in i-Ready). This has specific instructions on administration (i.e. no calculators, headphones, logistics, etc.)
7. Create a long term plan to administer all three i-Ready diagnostics (and progress monitoring assessments if necessary) to the students. This can include rotating kids in and out of a computer lab, administering in-class, etc. Plan for at least 45-60 minutes and be prepared for students to complete it over multiple days.
8. Administer the initial diagnostic to all identified students within the testing window for all three diagnostics. Please allow at least 12 weeks between assessments.
9. Analyze the data you get from the diagnostic and make a plan to address the needs of your students.

*Initial test should be administered ASAP. These are RECOMMENDED windows. You can test at ANY time. Please TRY to allow at least 12 weeks between full diagnostic assessments.*
Progress Monitoring Assessments are also available to be given in between full assessments. These are 15 minute “temperature checks” that can be given as often as monthly if needed. You can assign these to students through the “Assignments” tab.
Teachers and students will NOT be able to log in until after submitting the Google forms. Please allow up to a week before you can access the system after submitting forms.

*The i-Ready Math Diagnostic should NOT be the sole source of math assessment data you collect and use for your students. Multiple pieces of data should be used for present levels, goals, and instruction.
ü Join and access the SES Math Wiki for the most comprehensive math resource available: http://www.tinyurl.com/SESMath
ü If your school is interested in purchasing the i-Ready instructional add-on to use in a “blended” instruction model aimed at directly addressing individual needs identified in the i-Ready Math Diagnostic, please go the i-Ready section of the Wiki for easy ordering info (or contact Justin Bock). Subscriptions are $20.40/student for the year.
