Elohim – meaning Eternal Creator.
“El” comes from a root that means strong or power, and therefore, has the connotation of
“Strong One” or “Mighty Leader.”

IMPLICATIONS OF THE
NAME ELOHIM
1. OUR GOD IS CREATOR AND
ETERNAL
The Hebrew word for “create” means “to create out of
nothing.”
Psalm 95:6

our Maker…”
Psalm 121:2 “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker
of heaven and earth.”

world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.”
