Modern systems now consists of a furnace, air conditioning unit, and a ventilation system as well

as pipe or PVC ducts that transports air through rooms,

home or buildings.

The individual systems – heating, ventilation, and ac system are connected via these pipes and ducts and

they do not interfere with one another.

The heating component of the HVAC system basically involves

combustion of fossil fuel like propane gas or oil within a

containment device such as furnace or boiler.

The heat produced during combustion is then distributed to

rooms and other parts of the building via ducts and pipes.

The ventilation component in an HVAC system is the one that

creates airflow in and out of the building.
