Debbie Taylor - Josh Taylor’s mom - has gone home to be with the Lord. The services
were held this week in St. Louis. Please continue to pray for the Taylor family.
Tom Branson - Tom has had the last test on his hear t and the result is that he has
been officially put on the double transplant list for a heart and a kidney. The difficult
part of this other than the obvious is that he have a blood type of O+ which means
donors are rare. Please pray for Tom & his family as he begins this journey. Edith Swearingen - was released from Hildebrand on Fr iday. She will be receiving
an MRI to determine what is causing the pressure in her head. The A-Fib appears to be
under control. She also will be moving temporarily to Lexington to be with her daugh-
ter Debbie. Please continue to pray for healing, peace & comfort. Dan Lyons - had surgery last week to have a permanent colostomy put in. Surgery to
put in the colostomy Monday went well. Dad is home. Thank you for your pray-
ers! Continue to pray for healing and increased mobility. Also be in prayer for my
mom (Cathy) as she is dealing with stress and exhaustion working full time and taking
care of him. Dad is still hoping to walk again one day, but he realizes there is a possi-
bility that won't happen. God is good and has proven he will provide.
Annette Esslinger - She will be doing the iodine radiation treatment for the thyroid
cancer starting June 6th followed by a 7 day isolation period. After this period she’ll
have a full body scan to make sure the cancer has not spread. Please pray for Annette
and the family during this time for peace, rest & healing . Dan Nolan - Pat Nolan’s brother - PRAISE! Dan was mis-diagnosed. He is anemic and
needs a blood transfusion. There is no cancer. Allison (Green) Hoffman - daughter of Jim & Karen Green - was diagnosed with
cervical cancer this week. Surgery is scheduled for June 2. Please pray for comfort,
peace and compete healing. Danny Woods - Sandy White’s brother - was released from the hospital and will be
staying with Hank & Sandy during his recuperation. Continued prayers for healing. Diane Dustman - has pneumonia and medical tests show large stones in each kidney.
Surgery is not an option. Please pray for wisdom for her doctors.

Kayla Maas - had surgery Thursday. They
put in a plate and screws to stabilize her
collarbone fracture from last years fall. Also
taking a bone graft from her wrist to promote
bone healing. Surgery went good, she is
home recuperating. Prayers for healing! Alison - Mike & Lani Peppers niece—is 16
weeks pregnant and starting bleeding this
week. The baby’s heartbeat is strong and rest
is needed. Please pray for a continued
healthy pregnancy for mom & baby.

Mentoring Training Seminar THIS
SATURDAY! - The Mentoring Commit-
tee is conducting a training seminar on
Saturday June 4th in the Chapel from
approximately 8:45-12:30 for those in-
terested in becoming a mentor. This
will be an exciting time of fellowship and
learning and will provide valuable point-
ers and tools that can be used in your
daily walk. Topics include: Biblical Basis
for Mentoring, Communication Skills,
Healthy Boundaries, and Scenarios/
Workshop. "Iron sharpens iron, and
one man sharpens another". Sign up
