“O Abū r! We ere fuy re of your merit ht Ah bestoe youith. We o ot evy you for ht goo Ah gve to you. Hoever, you
i ot give cosiertio to our opiio. We fet tht e ere eigibe [for the
ciphte] becuse of our fmiy ties ith the esseger of Ah .” He co-

He is Abū r ʿAbuāh ib Abī Quḥāfh ib ʿUthmā ib ʿAmr ib Kʿb ib
