Hewlett Packard Rohnert Park

T he tota l p ro gr am for the s i te inc lude d the

development of 1,750,000 square feet of production,

of f ice and research faci l i t ies housed in seven

buildings with ancillary support facilities, parking

for 6,000 cars, corporation yards, and extensive

recreation and cafeteria facilities. The landscape

architectural concept recalls dry land farm character,

using orchards and large eucalyptus windbreaks

indigenous to the area. Pedestrian walkways are

flanked by allées of trees and raised above parking

levels to screen large areas of parking from building

views.
