Hamer Hall is Melbourne’s premier
concert venue. Located at Southbank
Melbourne, Hamer Hall is used for
orchestra and contemporary music
performances. It is home to the
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the
preferred Melbourne performance venue
for the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
During the redevelopment whilst much of
the unique heritage of the original
building was kept, Mirotone polyurethane
coatings in bright pinks, yellows and
oranges were used to create bold
statement features such as the reception
desk in bright yellow. Stains were used in
matching colours topcoated with
MIROTHANE PU clear coatings to continue
the colour theme. Polycure’s AQUAPRO
8270 Advance 2K water based floor
coating was used on the timber floor to
create a hard wearing surface for the
many visitors.
