HELPING FAMILIES HELP THEMSELVES
Habitat is the only organization in Eagle County offering home ownership opportunities to families earning between 35% and 60% of the Area Median Income.
Habitat knows that when we partner with a family to create decent and affordable housing, we help that family forge a path out of poverty.

VOLUNTEERS MAKE IT ALL POSSIBLE
Volunteers are an integral part of Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley’s operation and success. 532 individuals volunteered with us in 2014 enabling us to better expand our capacity and to achieve our ambitious program goals.
Without volunteers, our work and our reach would be limited, and building homes in our community would be cost prohibitive.

ELIMINATING POVERTY HOUSING WORLDWIDE
Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley’s work does not end in our local community. For every house we build here locally we build one internationally to support Habitat International’s global mission to eliminate poverty housing worldwide.
2014 GLOBAL VILLAGE TRIP
A group of volunteers from the Vail Valley traveled to Malawi, Africa in June for 9 days, and built simple brick homes alongside local families. The group formed once-in-a-lifetime friendships as they lived, worked, and ate with the local people in the rural village of Mulanje.
