competitive assessment for Orville Redenbacher containing
an analysis of media spend, messaging, and creative
platforms, which I then presented to the account
management team.

While studying at one of the most selective communications schools in
the country, I lead a team of four in a 10 week competitive market
simulation for my brand management class. To manage our brand
portfolio, I took the initiative to create nine Excel sheets full of
records, analyses and formulas that forecasted how the market
would change next period. Each week I wrote a detailed email to
my team, analyzing the market data and advising how we
should optimize our R&D, distribution, pricing, sales, and
advertising strategies for the next period. I even color coded the
email, so that each team member could focus on relevant information.
