Logan Erikson, a Rizing Sr GIS Analyst analyzed the data and developed a 29-page data Clean-up procedure.
There was no available institutional knowledge of the data.
Logan also oversaw the WBCM data clean-up team.
While exceptional GIS Analyst, the WBCM team had no LRS expertise. Therefor the Data Clean-up procedure had to explicit and provide an example of every clean-up scenario.

The process created linear geometry from the RouteId and begin and end measure outputs from the Locate Feature Along Route geoprocessing tool.
Editors manually reviewed the linear data to ensure the newly created Incident Zone, or Detour linear geometry accurately fell within the source polygon.
If the route did not fall within the buffer polygon due to updated route geometries, editors manually edited the begin and end measures of the Locate Features Along Route output to ensure the polygon was located correctly to the route.
After the data had been QC’d, linear events were created within R&H using the required schema. The tabular data (the output from the Locate Features Along Route tool) was then loaded into the R&H event using the Append Events geoprocessing tool.
