What grade do I need to be in to a end Forbes Road CTC?
Students can start a ending Forbes Road CTC as a ninth grader in our Exploratory Program. All sending district stu-dents in grades 10—12 are eligible to par cipate in Voca onal Training as part of the PDE School Code.
How much does it Cost?
There is no tui on cost for you to a end Forbes Road CTC. The sending districts compensate Forbes. The only costto you maybe uniform, kit and/or tool costs.
Can I S ll Join Sports at my Home School?
YES. You can par cipated in district sports. Forbes Road CTC supports our sending district athletes.
How do I get to Forbes Road CTC?
Students are bussed by their sending district transporta on departments.
How Can I Earn College Credit While A ending Forbes Road CTC?
At Forbes Road CTC you have the opportunity to earn anywhere from 3-18+ college credits through dual enrollmentprograms, SOAR state programs and ar cula on agreements.

APPRENTICESHIP Students begin paid work sitelearning as youth appren ces during their junior and/orsenior years of high school. Students spend two days ata work site under the supervision of a work site mentor.
COOPERATIVE EDUCATION—This method of instruc onintegrates academic and technical educa on with jobtraining in the student’s career eld though wri en coopera ve arrangements between the schools, employers, parents and students.
INTERNSHIP—Through actual work experience, the non paid Internship program is designed to give students the “work experience” o en demanded by today’s employers. This program provides support, guidance, evalua on, and allows the student to u lize the skills gained in the classroom.
