The air-insulated medium-voltage switch-gear NXAIR is the result of many years of experience and development. Worldwide, air-insulated technology has served as a basis for an established, reliable power supply for more than 100 years. The NXAIR family has been continuously developed since 1998, and individually adapted to the specific market requirements of the different industries and power supply companies.

NXAIR conforms to the defined standards of IEC, GOST and GB/ DL, partly exceeding them. The proven resistance to internal faults provides highest personal safety, and thus a sustainable increase of pro-ductivity. Due to its adaptable design, NXAIR offers high flexibility to satisfy individual cus-tomer requirements. Our specialists design customized solutions for you, even for adverse climatic conditions, at maximum or minimum ambient air temperatures, under high air humidity, as well as in case of heavy pollution of ambient air with dust, gases, salts or chemically active vapors. Many details of NXAIR can be modified, and manufactured according to the customer’s requirements. Please find a small selection of options below:

Cable connection Flexible in connection: Cables can be connected both from above and from below, and installation is possible from front or rear. Different cable types and cross-sections can be used.

Current transformer connection Easily extendable: NXAIR offers space for up to 6 current transformers per panel (2 current transformers per phase). Different core classes and accuracies as well as individual protection concepts are possible.

Upgrade of degree of protection The degree of protection of a switchgear must meet the most different requirements,

depending on the area of application. With the corresponding additional measures, degrees of protection up to IP42 or IP51 can be reached, in order to operate NXAIR safely even under severe conditions.

Components on the busbar For functions such as busbar earthing or busbar voltage metering, NXAIR does not require any additional panels, as these func-tions can be directly implemented by means of additional components mounted on the busbar. Cost savings and optimum utilization of switchgear buildings are guaranteed.

Pressure relief The pressure relief of the switchgear can be designed individually, depending on the installation conditions inside the building or the customer’s request. Whether into the building via absorbers or to the outside through a modular pressure relief duct sys-tem – the pressure relief can be configured individually, and it is of course type-tested to ensure a high personal safety.

Mimic diagram Depending on the customer’s request, the mimic diagram with integrated mechanical position indicators can be supplied in different colors and with customer-specific symbols.
