Find Facebook FriendsTo view someone’s posts in your News Feeds, you first have to become “friends” with that person. A Facebook friend can be anyone—a neighbor, co-worker, family member, someone you used to go to school with. For some-one to become your Facebook friend, you first have to send them a friend request. (Then they have to accept your request, of course.)

1 From within the Facebook app, tap the Friend Requests icon.

2 Facebook recommends people you might want to be friends with. Tap the Add Friend button to send a request to a particular person.

3 Tap + Find Friends at the bottom of the screen to find more friends.

4 Tap the Suggestions tab to view more friend suggestions.

5 Tap the Search tab to search for specific friends.

6 Enter the friend’s name or email address.

7 Tap Search.

8 Facebook now displays a list of people who match your search criteria. Tap Add Friend to send a request to a particular person.
