During flight a Drone or other type of UAV can suffer a flight anomaly, loose contact, experience a battery failure or become totallyuncontrollablebyafailureoranoutsidesignal.Inthatcasethedronewillcrashuncontrollable,leadingtothelossofthevehicleandallinstruments it carries.UsingaDRShowever that canbeactuatedby thepilotor thruusingastand-alone system thatdetects that theDroneisinanemergency,canfacilitateforasafelandingwithminordamagetotheDroneandthesurroundings.
