About The Shows
WEST SIDE STORY
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to twentieth New York City as two young, idealistic lov-
ers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican
Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative,
heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.
MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PIMBERLEY
A sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, MISS BENNET continues the story, only this time with
bookish middle-sister Mary as its unlikely heroine. Mary is growing tired of her role as dutiful middle
sister in the face of her siblings’ romantic escapades. When the family gathers for Christmas at Pember-
ley, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match, and possibly even
love.
STOLEN SHKESPEARE FESTIVAL, “Bring Up The Bodies” Featuring MACBETH and
WOLF HALL part 2
MACBETH
A brave Scottish general named Macbeth receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will
become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders
King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne for himself. He is then wracked with guilt and paranoia.
WOLF HALL part 2, “Bring Up The Bodies”
Hilary Mantel's Thomas Cromwell novels are the most formidable literary achievements of recent times,
both recipients of the Man Booker Prize. In Bring Up the Bodies, the volatile Anne Boleyn is now Queen,
her career seemingly entwined with that of Cromwell. But when the King begins to fall in love with plain
Jane Seymour, the ever-pragmatic Cromwell must negotiate within an increasingly perilous Court to
satisfy Henry, defend the nation, and above all, to secure his own rise in the world.
STEEL MAGNOLIAS
Six women come together in this hilarious and heartwarming story of life, love and loss in a small Louisi-
ana parish. Pivoting around the lively Truvy Jones' Louisiana beauty parlour, a tightly-knit band of
friends, confront griefs, loss, life's unforeseen tragedies and heartaches with what they do best: gossip-
ing…
MY FAIR LADY
Eliza Doolittle is a flower seller with an unmistakable Cockney accent which keeps her in the lower
rungs of Edwardian society. When Professor Henry Higgins tries to teach her how to speak like a prop-
er lady, an unlikely friendship begins to flourish. Features songs “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?,” “With a Little
Bit of Luck,” “The Rain in Spain,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On the Street Where You Live,”
“Get Me to the Church on Time,” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.”
CRAZY FOR YOU
New York banker Bobby Child is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theatre. In
Deadrock, Bobby falls for spunky Polly Baker, the theater owner’s daughter. But Polly takes an instant
dislike to the city slicker, so Bobby vows – through cunning, razzmatazz, and a hilarious case of mistaken
identity – to win Polly’s heart and save the theatre. Memorable Gershwin tunes from the score include
“I Got Rhythm,” “Naughty Baby,” “They Can’t Take That Away from Me,” “Embraceable You,” “But
Not for Me,” “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”
