Temple Project status
Things to do to bring the temple up to today’s standards
All the air ducting has to be redone Need to structurally strengthen the walls for possible new doors and
windows. Redo all the walls, floors and ceilings Additional ceiling lighting Upgrade the plumbing Upgrade the electrical Include Audio The ultimate size even with all the modifications may not be
adequate Draw up plans and pass them through local authorities
• The eventual cost may not justify the final product
More than10 layouts have been examined Final Design Has not been Finalized
Design # 2 Minimal change Design # 8 Remove a wall
Gabharo Design (Similar to New Jersey)
Mulnayak – Dharmanath Swami, Right– Parsvanath Swami (Shwetamber)

Temple Project status
• Conclusions
The required modifications can be very costly.
The final facility size may be limiting.
We can save money right now and look for a longer term alternative.
Minimum financial investment yet functional for next 5 years
Still talking to Structural engineers & Architects (Make sure we are legally compliant)
• Welcome your inputs
Q & A
18
Questions / Suggestions from General Body
1. How we can increase involvement of Senior Citizens in terms of
programs and activities ?
2. How can we increase more community participation for meetings
such as General Body so that entire community is aware of
positive changes happening and understand the value of their
volunteering and donations?
EC will be debating these questions and advise on ways to
accomplish these goals.
