DireccionesStage 1: Research (5-7 min)
• 1. Divide into assigned groups• 2. Collect the props for your group’s fashion show• 3. Find your group’s assigned computer
– 2 people will use the internet to look up the Spanish words for the items on the worksheet
– The other 2 people will use Spanish dictionaries to help fill out the worksheet
– After the worksheet is half-way done, switch roles. • 4. Once you finish the worksheet, look at the props you will be using and at
the clothes your group members are already wearing. – Are there any items that you will be using that were not on the
worksheet?– Look up these words and write them at the bottom of your worksheet. – You must write at least 3 words that you did not use to fill out your
worksheet. • 5. Be thinking about what you will say during the fashion show…
DireccionesStage 2: Hit the runway! (20-25 min)
• 1. Each member in your group will take turns playing the following roles:– Model: Your job is to put on at least 5 articles of clothing and model it
for your fashion show– Announcer: Your job is to describe the 5 articles of clothing that the
model is wearing. • Ex) Él/ella está llevando una camisa roja: He/she is wearing a red shirt.
– Recorder: Your job is to record the fashion show.– Spectator: Your job is cheer your team on and to prepare to be the next
model (put on clothes, etc). • 2. Every person must perform each of these roles at least 1 time. • 3. All props must be used at least 1 time. • 4. Be creative and enthusiastic• 5. Have fun!
DireccionesStage 3: Editing
• Make sure your take good footage of your fashion show!
• Tomorrow in class we will be editing the fashion show footage using iMovie.
• We can add sounds, music, special effects, etc. • After we finishing editing, we will put all of the
footage together to make OUR CLASS FASHION SHOW!
• We may even get a chance to show the footage to other Spanish classes.
How will you be graded?
• Make sure you fill out the worksheet completely• Don’t forget to add the extra 3 words at the
bottom• Use all of the provided props at least once• Play each of the four roles of the fashion show at
least once• Make sure you focus on pronunciation and
adjective-noun agreement (camisa roja)• Most of all be creative and enthusiastic!
