Eid Mubarak
We would like to wish Eid Mubarak to all our families celebrating this week.
We are aware that there was a misunderstanding regarding the requirement for a leave of absence form to be completed. As part of our policy, if a child requires a day off school for any reason other than illness a leave of absence form is required. This includes holidays, funerals, compassionate leave and religious festivals.
We are very sorry if this misunderstanding caused any of our parents distress or inconvenience and did not spoil your celebrations.
We look forward to the children telling their class mates all about the celebrations during their Eid celebration time this week and we also look forward to seeing each class perform in our special Eid assembly on Monday.

Every half term, as a school, we have a focus on a different language. Each class receives a pack of common words/translations and learns them. We will be sharing the focus language of the term with you and sharing some of the translations so you can discuss with your child at home.
This half term we are focusing on Urdu and this weeks words are:
Welcome = Kush-amdeed—
Hello = Aslam-u-alaikum—
The Leicester libraries reading challenge is starting soon. The theme this year is Space Chase and starts

You can complete this challenge with the book bus that stops in our infant playground every Tuesday

Below are some of the exciting things happening during this incentive. We will share more information
