How to Create a New Page in Drupal
After you login, go to “create content” on the navigation menu Then select “Page”

A. Title the page the exact wayyou want it to read
B. Menu link titleIf the new page will be a link on theprimary link menu, what is the titleof the link? Or leave blank for now.
C. Choose <primary links>
D. “0” is the default
E. Begin adding text/imagesto the editing region

F. With some text added to theediting region, go to URLpath settings and title the page.(no special characters or spaces)

Take a look at the menu settings.Choose “Menus”Choose “Main Tabs”

Go to the navigation menu, and click on “administer”.
When you click on Main Tabs, you will see the menu as it appears on your site.
At the top, you can add item(another link)or edit the menu
The link “News”is listed first. It is enabled,so you will see it on the nav. bar.
Expanded enables“children” links. (Like the Educational Resources dropdown links)You can edit or delete links by clicking the edit button.
Let’s look more closely at the edit function for a menu item

This is the “news” link information.Path is the url or page name
This is the title of the linkand description when youhover over the item
The link is enabled
Under Parent item dropdown,it shows that it is a main tab

Click on the Add item tab.
How to Add a Sub-linkto an Existing Menu Item
In this example, Educational Resources has a few drop down links. In order to create these links, the main link needs to have the “expanded” box selected.

If you need to create a new drop down link: Go to the “Add item” tab
Path: enter the url or the text “<front>”Menu link title: name the link,(this example the name of the new link is“new link”)
Description: add information
Click on Enabled
Parent item:find the menu title you wantthis new link to be associated with on the menu.
In this example, the sub-linkor “child” relates to Educational Resources
Save

Now, when you look atthe menu list, you willsee the new drop down link
If you decide that thesub-link needs to bethe first link in the drop down,click on the icon anddrag the link to where youwant it.
Click Save Configuration
Check the link on the main bar
